After meeting by chance, the group began a tradition that still stands. For each of the last twenty years they’ve gathered during the holidays to celebrate their herit
Palm Nordic is a new company with a long history. It started with several couples made up of Americans married to Danes, Norwegians, and Swedes all living in the same town. After meeting by chance, the group began a tradition that still stands. For each of the last twenty years they’ve gathered during the holidays to celebrate their heritage through food and drink. Aquavit is derived from the Latin aqua vitae, meaning “water of life.” The birth of Nordic aquavit was first recorded in a letter from the Danish Lord Eske Bille of Bergenhus castle, to the Norwegian bishop Olav Engelbrektsson in 1531
